30-DAY EXCHANGE POLICY
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request an exchange for store credit.
All returns are issued as store credit. Your store credit never expires and may be applied toward any piece in our collection.
EXCHANGE REQUIREMENTS
To ensure the integrity and quality of our pieces, items must meet the following conditions for exchange eligibility:
- Security tag remains attached and intact
- Completely unworn, free from any scratches, marks, or signs of wear
- Original packaging includes presentation box, certificates, and all documentation
- Exchange requested within 30 days of delivery date
- No custom modified pieces with engraving, custom sizing, or alterations are ineligible for exchange
RESTOCKING FEES
To maintain the exceptional quality and value of our made-to-order pieces, the following restocking fees apply:
Engagement Rings: 10% restocking fee
Wedding Bands: 15% restocking fee
Fine Jewelry (Necklaces, Bracelets, Rings): 20% restocking fee
Earrings: Final sale—no returns or exchanges
Example:
- Original purchase: $1,500
- Restocking fee (10%): $150
- Store credit issued: $1,350
These fees cover material recovery, meticulous quality inspection, and the specialized processing required for custom-crafted pieces.
COMPLIMENTARY RESIZING
For Engagement Rings Only
We understand that finding the perfect fit is essential. If your engagement ring requires a different size, we're pleased to offer complimentary resizing, within 60 days of delivery.
What We Provide:
- Professional resizing service at no charge
- Complimentary return shipping to you

- One complimentary resize per engagement ring

- We'll professionally resize your ring and return it via complimentary shipping

Limitations:
- Resizing limited to 2 full sizes up or down from original
- Certain designs cannot be resized (see below)
⚠️ Non-Resizable Styles:
Due to their intricate design and construction, the following styles cannot be resized:
- Eternity bands (diamonds encircling the entire band)
- Tension-set rings
- Full channel-set bands
For non-resizable styles: Exchange for store credit available (applicable restocking fee applies). Please contact us before ordering if you're uncertain about sizing—we're here to help.
HOW TO REQUEST AN EXCHANGE
Step 1: Email us at contactus@tangandco.com within 30 days of delivery
- Include your order number, reason for exchange, and photos of the piece with security tag attached
Step 2: We'll review your request and respond within 1-2 business days
Step 3: Once approved, we'll provide detailed return instructions
Step 4: Carefully package your item with:
- Original presentation box and all packaging
- Security tag attached and intact
- All documentation, certificates, and papers
Step 5: Ship to the address provided using a tracked, insured carrier (you are responsible for return shipping costs)
Step 6: Upon receipt, we'll inspect your piece within 3-5 business days and issue store credit minus the applicable restocking fee
Step 7: Your store credit will be available immediately to apply toward any piece in our collection
EARRINGS: FINAL SALE
For health and hygiene reasons, all earring purchases are final sale. No returns, exchanges, or store credit available.
We encourage you to review your selection carefully before purchase. Should you have questions about style, size, or specifications, our team is delighted to assist you at [your email].
DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE PIECES
We stand behind the craftsmanship of every piece we create. If you receive a damaged or defective item, we'll make it right immediately.
Please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photographs clearly showing the issue.
We'll offer your choice of:
- Complimentary replacement with expedited production and shipping, OR
- Full store credit including your original shipping costs
No restocking fee applies to damaged or defective items. This protection extends to all jewelry, including items that are otherwise final sale.
LIFETIME CRAFTSMANSHIP WARRANTY
Every piece from Tang & Co. is protected by our Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects, a testament to our commitment to enduring quality.
Coverage Includes:
- Loose or lost stones resulting from defective setting
- Structural defects in metalwork or prongs
- Metal discoloration or plating issues under normal wear
- Clasps or closures that fail during regular use
Not Covered:
- Normal wear and patina that develops over time
- Damage from accidents, impacts, or improper care
- Lost or stolen jewelry
- Surface scratches from daily wear
- Modifications or repairs by third-party jewelers
To Initiate a Warranty Claim:
Email photographs to contactus@tangandco.com with a description of the issue. Warranty repairs are completed within 4-6 weeks at no charge to you.
SECURITY TAG POLICY
All pieces ship with a security tag that must remain attached for exchange eligibility.
Removing the security tag indicates your acceptance of the purchase as final sale. You may carefully try on your piece with the tag attached to ensure proper fit and satisfaction.

Q: May I receive a cash refund instead of store credit?
A: All exchanges are issued as store credit only. This allows us to maintain our exacting quality standards while offering exceptional value on our custom-crafted pieces.
Q: Why is there a restocking fee?

Q: What if I'm beyond the 30-day exchange window?
A: Unfortunately, we cannot accept exchanges after 30 days from delivery. Please contact us promptly if you wish to exchange your piece.

A: Absolutely. Your store credit may be applied toward any item in our collection—simply pay the difference for higher-value pieces.
Q: What if I accidentally removed the security tag?
A: Items with removed or tampered security tags cannot be exchanged. All returns are carefully inspected to ensure authenticity and condition.
Q: How do I know if my ring can be resized?

Q: What if my ring needs to be resized more than 2 sizes?
A: We can only resize up to 2 full sizes from the original without compromising the ring's proportions and structural integrity. Beyond that, we recommend exchanging for a new ring in the correct size (applicable restocking fee applies).
SIZING GUIDANCE
For Non-Resizable Styles:
Certain designs particularly eternity bands and channel-set pieces cannot be resized after creation. For these pieces, precise sizing is essential.
We Recommend:

- Measure at the end of the day when fingers are at their largest
- Consider the width of the band, wider bands may require sizing up
